
HOW TO MAKE GREEN TEA

Sencha Tea
1. The first thing you heat your water.
2. Warm the cup and teapot with hot water.
The hot water is first poured into the empty teapot and leave
for a minute or two. This will drop the water temperature to
about 80℃ and pre-heat the teapot.
3. Pour hot water 70℃ from teapot into the empty teacup(s).
4. Put tea leaves in teapot. (1 tea spoon = 2g for 1 cup of tea)
5. Pour the hot water from the teacup(s) directly into the teapot
and brew with the lid on.
6. Brew for 2 minutes pour from the teapot into the teacup(s).
7. Enjoy!
Matcha Tea
1. The first thing you heat your water.
2. Put Match powder into tea bowl.
(1 heaping tea spoon = 2g for 1 cup of tea)
3. Pour the 80° hot water 1/3 of the tea bowl.
4. Whisk the hot water and powder using bamboo whisk
until the tea is smooth.
5. Enjoy!
Bancha Tea
1. The first thing you heat your water.
2. Put tea leaves in teapot.
(1 tea spoon = 2g for 1 cup of tea)
3. Add boiling water (100℃) to extract the full flavor and
aroma from the leaves.
4. Wait about 30 seconds, while the leaves unravel inside
the teapot.
5. Serve and Enjoy!
Genmai-cha Tea
1. The first thing you heat your water.
2. Warm the cup and teapot with hot water.
The hot water is first poured into the empty teapot and leave

3. Put tea leaves in teapot. (1 tea spoon = 2g for 1 cup of tea)
Pour the hot water from the teapot and brew with the lid on.
4. Brew for 1 minute pour from the teapot into the teacup(s).
5. Enjoy!
Hojicha Tea
1. The first thing you heat your water.
2. Put 4 table spoons (10g) tea leaves in teapot.
3. Add boiling water (100℃) to extract the full flavor and
aroma from the roasted leaves.
4. Wait about 30 seconds, while the leaves unravel inside
the teapot.
5. Serve and Enjoy!
